Blink is a private marketplace for exceptional and collectible objects. We connect reputable African galleries, dealers and eligible consignors with collectors around the world.
The experience is deliberately different from a general online marketplace. Collectors are reviewed before access, rooms can be limited to selected participants, and offers are presented privately rather than as public competition.
Our role is to provide the trusted setting, collector access and transaction support around the sale. The gallery or consignor remains in control of the commercial decision and chooses whether, and to whom, an offer is accepted.
The Blink Model
Private offers, not public bidding.
Blink does not operate open auctions or ask collectors to compete publicly. The model can be understood as a sealed-offer sale: each collector submits an offer privately, and the seller considers the offers received without turning the room into a public bidding contest.

Private by design
Collectors make their own offers privately. Other collectors do not see a public running price or compete in an open bidding sequence.

Seller discretion
The gallery or consignor decides which offer, if any, to accept. A sale is not automatically awarded to the highest amount.

Collector reputation
Blink's vetted access gives sellers useful context about the person behind an offer, alongside the amount being proposed.

No offer deposit
Collectors do not need to place money on hold simply to make a private offer. Payment begins after an offer is accepted, subject to the applicable terms.

Room access
Some rooms are limited to selected collectors. Where enabled, eligible collectors can request access even when they were not directly invited.

Explore exceptional objects presented by reputable African galleries, dealers and consignors. Review photographs, videos, descriptions, provenance and condition information before expressing interest.
Enter
Collectors are reviewed before admission to Blink. Selected Private Offer Rooms can be invitation-only, while some rooms allow eligible collectors to request access.
Make a private offer
Each collector submits a private offer for the object in the currency shown in the room. Offers are not displayed as a public contest and no deposit is required simply to make an offer.
Seller decides
The gallery or consignor reviews the offers received and decides how to proceed. The amount offered matters, but so does the standing and reputation of the collector behind the offer.
Settle & receive
Once an offer is accepted, Blink Concierge helps coordinate payment, documentation, collection and delivery, including cross-border arrangements where available.
