Brand Verification Process

To maintain the highest levels of trust in the Blink Marketplace, all brands and dealers must pass a rigorous verification process. We only allow legitimate businesses to list products or activate creator rooms.

1. Business Registration

Submit your corporate documentation for review. This includes:

  • CAC Certificate (Nigeria) or equivalent business registration.
  • TIN (Tax Identification Number).
  • Proof of Physical Office Address.

2. SCUML Compliance

As a platform handling high-value assets, we comply with Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) regulations. Brands and dealers must provide their SCUML certificate where applicable.

3. Physical Inspection

Our team will conduct a physical visit to your business premises to verify:

  • Inventory Authenticity: We ensure the items you claim to have are physically present.
  • Business Presence: Confirming you are an established entity.
  • Studio Readiness: Ensuring you have the minimum requirements to host a professional creator room.

4. Final Approval

Once the documentation and physical checks are complete, your account will be upgraded to Verified Brand status. You can then:

  • Create listings and add inventory.
  • Schedule creator partnerships.
  • Access the Brand Dashboard.

[!IMPORTANT] Blink reserves the right to suspend any brand account if fraudulent activity is detected or if verification documents are found to be falsified.

Contact Brand Support if you have any questions about the verification timeline.
